What's in today's Special – September 6

Wow. She did it – and how. Rachel Alexandra won her eighth race of the year, and did it admirably while turning aside challenges at every stage fo the 1 1/8-mile race. She outran the pacesetters, shrugged off the middle-movers and would not let Macho Again past in the stretch. She won by a head, and thrilled every person lucky enough to witness the effort. Oh, and Pyro won the Forego and Linda Rice reclaimed the lead in the trainers' race. This is the final edition of 2009. We're going to miss the product – but not the schedule. Check it all out on the PDF available FREE in the Clubhouse .
